Army Institute of Management, Kolkata (AIMK) is an ISO 9001 : 2015 Certified Institute formally known as National Institute of Management Calcutta (NIMC), approved by AICTE, was established on 28 July 1997 by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES), New Delhi, to conduct Management Program for the children of Army professional. Out of 120 intake 80% seat of the program is reserved for army wards and rest 20% is available for common citizen of the country. Army Institute of Management has received the Certificate of Excellence and has been placed in the A+++ category in the current B-School survey. The eco-friendly campus located at Alipore, in the heart of the ‘City of Joy’ Kolkata. The institute is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) formally know as WBUT. Minimum Eligibility Requirements and Cutoffs for PG Programmes in Army Institute of Management (AIMK- Kolkata)
Only students who have appeared in CAT can apply for our MBA Programme. Minimum qualification for admission to MBA programme is Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with 50% marks, recognized by the Association of Indian Universities. If the Bachelor’s degree is done through distance mode then the affiliated institute & the university must be within the same state.

Army Institute Of Management, Kolkata (AIMK) Has Several Specialisation Like:-
TATA Merit Scholarships are awarded by TATA Defence Welfare Corpus to Army Students ranking first and second each year through Rehabilitation and Welfare Section, Ceremonial and Welfare Directorate, Adjutant General’s Branch, Integrated Headquarters MoD (Army), Kashmir House, Rajaji Marg New Delhi- 110011. The students standing first are being awarded Rs. 20,000/- and standing second Rs. 15,000/-.
Army Commander’s Scholarships amounting to Rs 25,000/- each are awarded by HQ Eastern Command to two students of each batch every year.
Chairman’s Scholarships amounting to Rs 25,000/- each are awarded by HQ Bengal Sub Area to two students of each batch every year.

Considering the determination of Central Government to prohibit, prevent and eliminate the scourge of ragging of any type, the institution has constituted the formal Anti-ragging Cell comprising of Anti-ragging Committee and the Anti-ragging squad.
