Hostel facilities are provided within the campus and are housed in two separate buildings for Boys and Sixseparatebuildings for Girls. The main hostel building for Boys named as “Sardar Patel House”consists of 99 rooms, and the second building for boys named as “International Boys Hostel”consist of 250rooms. “Nelson Mandela House”, “Indian Girls Hostel”, “International Girls Hostel”etc are made available for girls inmates, with all facilities such as reading room, recreation room with television, telephone facilities, Gym etc. housed in the hostel.

Dayananda Sagar College of Management and Information Technology (DSCMIT) has been established under the Dayananda Sagar Institutions, in Bangalore, Karnataka. The college is permanently affiliated to Bangalore University with accreditation from NAAC and AICTE. For graduation the college offers degrees in BBM, BCA, BA in Journalism and MBA, MCA and M.Com for post graduation.
MBA-BU program was established in the year 1998 and since then has grown to be the largest & flagship management program under the aegis of DSCMIT.
The program is headed by Dr. Venkatesh B.R, who has a rich and varied industry experience in different corporates viz. HMT, Batliboi, AFPL, Finolex Cables Ltd., Yuken (I) Ltd. and MIL - a Tier2 Vendor for I-2 Technologies. This experience is further blended with a long and distinguished academic experience in different management schools.
The college offers comprehensive degree courses of MBA and MCA and M.Com. Candidates can opt for dual specializations for MBA in 10 subject combinations. The total number of seats offered in each course is 60 to be filled under government quota and DSU quota.
Aspirants seeking admission in these programs must have passed Bachelor’s Degree of minimum three-years from recognized university with 50% aggregate. Candidates need to have scores of DSAT//CAT/MAT/PGCET Entrance Test for MBA, PGCET/KMAT for MCA. Selection in M.Com. will be merit based.
The application to the college can be made in offline and online mode. In offline mode candidates can download the form from the college website while online mode form can be requested by filling enquiry form.
DSCMIT has always believed that information technology forms an integral part of Management. Every student on campus at DSCMIT is equipped with a state of the art Laptop, which enables him/her to connect to the digital nervous system of the DSCMIT’s knowledge base. DSCMIT’s internet captures all that is learnt in the institution and disseminates the same to all its stake holders on demand.
The lab at DSCMIT is equipped to handle intensive computing applications and is equipped with the latest hardware both for client and server computing. The Wi-Fi infrastructure ensures that each stakeholder on campus is able to connect to our digital nervous system from anywhere.
Graduation and a bachelors degree in any discipline obtained through the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent CGPA of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India. A Relaxation of 5% aggregate is there for SC/ST candidates.
