UG COURSES

B.A. (Bachelor Of Arts)

Candidates should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum of five subjects from any recognized board of education.
The candidates will be selected on the basis of their class 12th marks.

B.Sc.(Bachelor Of Scince)

Candidates should have passed in 10+2 / Equivalent with a minimum of five subjects from any recognised board of education
For B.Sc in Biotechnology, Biochemistry and Genetics/ Forensic Sciences, Chemistry & Genetics:-
Passed in 10+2 examinations with a minimum of five subjects along with Chemistry & Biology.
B.B.A.(Bachelor Of Business Administration) & B.Com.(Bachelor Of Commerce)

Candidates should have passed 10 + 2 examination from any recognised board of education
The selection process for B.Com/ BBA course is totally done on merit basis.

B.H.M.(Bachelor Of Hotel Management)

Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of five subjects.
Applicants must ensure that a certificate indicating the percentage obtained has to be submitted through the University / Board last studied.
And the Applicants passing GCE / O / A level examination should have passed 4 + 3 or 5 + 2 subjects at the O & A level respectively.

B.P.T.(Bahcelor Of Physiotherapy)

Candidates must have passed in 10+2 / Equivalent with a minimum of 40% marks with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects.
Candidates passing in GCE / O / A level examination should have passed in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the A level.
Candidates who have completed Pre-university course with Vocational Physiotherapy as their optional subject are also eligible for admission to BPT course.

B.C.A.(Bachelor Of Computer Applications)

Candidates must have passed in 10+2 or it's equivalent with a minimum of five subjects.

PG COURSES

M.C.A.(Master f Computer Applications)

Any degree of a minimum of 3 years duration (10+2+3) of Bangalore university or of any other University considered as equivalent, with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate of all subjects including languages, if any. The candidate should have also studied mathematics / Computer science /Business mathematics / Statistics / Computer applications / Electronics as a subject at PUC level or equivalent HSC (XII Standard) or at Degree level to be eligible for admission to MCA Course. Relaxation to SC/ST, Group to be extended as per University norms.

M.B.A.(Master Of Business Administration)

Any Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and should have appeared in the GCU Admission Entrance Test

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic marks and their performance in the GCU Admission Entrance Test. After that, the shortlisted candidates will be then called for the GD and PI round.

M.Sc.(Master Of Science)

Candidates should have secured a graduate degree in B.Sc. degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate
B.Sc. graduates in Biotechnology and B.Sc.(Hons.) graduates in Biotechnology / Biology / Botany / Microbiology / Zoology are also eligible for the admission if they have secured minimum 50% marks in aggregate in all the subjects.
In the absence of candidates, Graduates in Agricultural Science, Dairy Sciences, Horticulture, Forestry, Fisheries, Pharmacy, Engineering (Biotechnology), Medicine / Dental or Agricultural Engineering are eligible to take admission in the M.Sc program but they need to secure at least 50% marks in order to be eligible.

M.A.(Masters Of Arts)

Graduates who have obtained 40% in all subjects and 50% in the cognate subject in the qualifying university examinations are qualified.
Candidates with B.A, B.Sc. or B.Com Degree are eligible to take admission in the MA program in GCU but they need to secure a minimum 55% marks in the concerned language subject in the degree course.

M.P.T.(Masters Of Physiotherapy)

Candidates should have secured B.Sc. in PT or BPT from any recognized university with minimum 50% marks in aggregate are eligible for the MPT admission.

A student aspiring to study at GCU is required to fill the online application form and select their programme of interest. After the submission of the application form candidates will receive an acknowledgement email containing their unique Enquiry ID number.

After the acceptance of the application form, applicants will be invited to GCU campus for the GCU Admission Test.

After clearing the entrance exam shortlisted candidates will be called to submit the Statement of Purpose (250 to 300 words) as to why they wish to undertake the specific programme.

Personal Interview

Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview round based on marks obtained in the entrance test.

Final Selection

Admission will be done on the basis of the candidate's entrance test score, statement of purpose and performance in the personal interview.
