The Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM) (founded 1982) is an autonomous, public institute of sectoral management located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India, established by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India with financial assistance from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) and course assistance from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. The institute's objective is to fulfill the growing need for the managerial human resource in the area of Forest, Environment, and Natural resources Management and allied sectors. The institute is headed by a director selected and appointed by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India.

  • This scholarship (total 4) is available to SC category students at IIFM subject to fulfillment of the conditions laid down by the Ministry.
  • The scholarship will cover expenditure of full-fee and lodging boarding charges, books and stationary charges at a fixed rate.


Scholarship To ST Students :
  • The scholarship is offered by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India.
  • Five scholarships are available to ST category students at IIFM subject to fulfillment of the conditions laid down by the Ministry.
  • The scholarship will cover expenditure of full- fee, lodging and boarding charges, books and stationary charges at a fixed rate.


Performance Linked merit Scholarship :

Twenty students of the batch will be awarded a merit scholarship of Rs. 5000/- per month from the end of the First Term. After the first term results are declared, the Institute will prepare a merit list of eligible students based on recommendation of the PFM Committee.
