A student run mess is present in the hostel compound and serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisines. The mess offers a healthy mix of different Indian tastes originating from different states. The institute has hostels for both boys and girls and provides adequate facilities. The total Hostel fees is 3.12 lacs for 2 years.
The Indian Institute of Management Kashipur is a new entrant in the elite league of IIMs. The institute is set up with the objective of providing quality management education while sensitizing students towards the needs of the society. It is one of the thirteen Indian Institute of Management which the government has set up during the Eleventh Five-Year Plan.
The foundation stone of the institute was laid on 29 April 2011,under the mentorship of IIM Lucknow. The institute is approved by AICTE and offers Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM), a two year full time residential programme. The rigorous curriculum seeks to instil a passion for knowledge and ability to apply that knowledge to real life scenarios. The programme lays emphasis on all-round personality development and inculcates the values of leadership and integrity.
The institute is located in the third most populated city in Uttarakhand, which is one of the most densely industrialized regions in the country with over 180 industries having plants in and around the region and many more coming up. This places the institute at a vantage point when it comes to ‘Learning by Doing’ via frequent industry interactions and live projects. It’s new campus was functional from 2016 and is spread across a sprawling lush green 200+ acres along with all the amenities and facilities such as gym, international centre, AV lab, shopping centres. The various student clubs and committees are the perfect place for students to showcase their talent.
A candidate needs to appear for Common Admission Test(CAT). The minimum eligibility criteria is 50% in graduation. The minimum CAT cut-off is:
The parameters and weightage for calculation of composite scores includes CAT score, WAT ,PI, academics, work experience, academics diversity and gender diversity.
After that a WAT(Written Ability Test) and Personal Interview (PI) will be conducted for the further selection process.

Financial assistance in the form of 100%, 50% and 25% fee tuition waiver is given to up to 10% of the PGP participants based on their family income and academic performance. Any student, including those belonging to the SC/ST category, whose total annual family income does not exceed Rs. 3,00,000/- is eligible for consideration of these scholarships. The financial assistance is available to both the PGP-I-Year and PGP-II-Year students.
Agnitraya
Agnitraya is the annual flagship event of IIM Kashipur. It is a three-day inter-college fest consisting of events from Management, Sport and Cultural areas. Agnitraya'19 hosted over 1500 participants from over 30 colleges across India. As part of the fest, 10 management events, 15 sporting events, and 11 cultural events were conducted. In addition to these, Abhivyakti- an open mic recitation competition in association with The Social House, Model United Nations were also conducted.
Coalescence
Coalescence is the annual management conclave of IIM Kashipur aimed at industry-academia collaboration. It is a platform to bring together stalwarts from different domains of Marketing, Finance, Operations, IT & Analytics, HR and Consulting together to share their expertise and interact with the students of IIM Kashipur. Coalescence includes keynote speeches and panel discussions. The 2019 edition saw people from various companies including Star India, Honda Cars India Ltd. and Uber.
TEDxIIMKashipur
TEDxIIMKashipur is an independently organized event under the aegis of TED consisting of a series of talks by various accomplished and eminent personalities. The journey of TEDxIIMKashipur started in 2014 with a vision to provide a common platform for visionaries, innovators, and change-makers to inspire and be inspired. The theme of TEDxIIMKashipur 2017 was 'Breaking Barriers' while the theme of TEDxIIMKashipur 2018 was 'Shaping the Future'.
Uttishtha - Entrepreneurship Summit
Uttishtha is the annual entrepreneurship summit that acts as a platform for entrepreneurs to inspire and guide budding entrepreneurs. The event consists of keynote addresses, panel discussions, business plan competitions, and presentations.

‘Merit’ and ‘Ethics’ being the core driving values of Indian Institute of Management, Kashipur, towards turning out professionals of high caliber with strong sense of ethical judgments, social integration of student’spopulation coming from different parts of the country with most diverse cultural and social back grounds, becomes a matter of prime importance. ‘Ragging’ a social menace, as such has no place in academic environment of the Institute and concerted efforts are required to be in place to prevent its occurrence at any point of time. Hence the need for a balanced ‘anti-ragging policy’ was adopted by the Institute.
Udham Singh Nagar Railway Station is the nearest railway station to IIM Kashipur. Kashipur is well connected by railway networks with major destinations of India. Udham Singh Nagar Railway Station is situated 2kms from Kashipur city.
Pantnagar airport is the nearest airport. It is roughly one hour from Kashipur. It is well connected to New Delhi and Mumbai via Jet Airways, Air India and Spice Jet. The second nearest International Airport is Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, roughly 241 Kms from Kashipur city.
