IMS Kolkata provides separate accommodation facilities for boys and girls. All basic amenities like security, electricity, and water supply are provided in the hostels. The hostels have fully furnished rooms and have a study table, bookshelf, wardrobe and many other facilities. The hostel fee is INR 7K per month.
Established in 2006, the Institute of Management Study (IMS), Kolkata, is affiliated with MAKAUT and approved by AICTE. It provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses in Commerce, Science, Management, and Computer Application. IMS Kolkata's flagship program is its two-year MBA, available in Regular, Executive, and Blended modes. Other popular offerings include a BBA with three specializations, a BCA program, and a B.Sc. with 11 specializations. Additionally, the institute provides undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs in Humanities, Hospitality Management, Healthcare, and Media Science.
Situated on an 8-acre campus with 22,000 square feet of construction across five floors, IMS Kolkata provides well-ventilated classrooms, common areas, and a canteen, ensuring a comfortable learning environment with a balance of natural and artificial light. The campus features marble flooring for cleanliness and comfort, along with a manually operated elevator and separate toilet facilities for men and women, as well as provision for drinking water on each floor.
The placement report for 2022 and 2023 has not been published yet. In the 2021 placement drive, IMS Kolkata saw participation from over 15 recruiters, with students securing a highest CTC of INR 4.80 LPA and an average CTC of INR 2.40 LPA. Prominent recruiters included Wipro, Google, Extra Marks, Pie Infocomm, and Byjus.
