Each campus of MIT Pune has its own character. A lot of thought has gone into creating a stimulating environment in our campuses for study and research.There are various facilities in hostels like - canteen, public phone, cold drinking water, hot water for bath, etc. For entertainment the T.V. sets are available in recreation halls. However, viewing time is pre-defined. A Doctor visits the hostel, twice a week to conduct medical check-up. Hostel accommodation is allotted to students strictly on merit basis during the first year.

Eligibility for Telecom Systems Specialization - Candidate should be Graduate possessing a B.E. / B.C.S. / B.Tech. / B.C.A. / B.Sc in any discipline with consistent academic track record of 50% and above. The scores of competitive Management exams such as CAT / XAT / MAT (Sept, Dec, Feb & May) / GMAT (Taken in the last five years) / ATMA and CMAT are taken into consideration to filter potential candidates.
Eligibility for Lighting & Energy Specialization – Any Graduate with Physics in 12th with consistent academic track record of 50% and above. The Anti-Ragging Squad shall keep vigil, surveillance and patrolling functions. It shall be kept on mobile, alert and active at all times and shall be empowered to inspect places of potential ragging and make surprise raids on all hostels and other hot spots.
As per the Supreme Court of India order, anyone indulging in ragging will be punished appropriately. Institute has a 'Zero tolerance policy' in this respect.
