The Institute offers separate hostels for girls and boys. The hostels provide a good environment for the students to feel at home & concentrate on their overall academic & personal growth. RIMS Hostel fee for boys is ₹1.90 lakh to ₹ 2.45 lakh.

Ramaiah Institute of Management Studies (RIMS) operates under the umbrella of the M S Ramaiah Foundation (MSRF), with a primary focus on delivering high-quality education in the fields of Management, Law, and Undergraduate Studies. Established in 2007, the institute's courses have received approval from the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), with the official endorsement granted in 2021. The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a two-year full-time program offering specializations in Human Resources, Marketing, Finance, Operations, International Business, and Business Analytics.
The campus is Equipped with a modern computer lab and a Wi-Fi-enabled environment. RIMS provides students with state-of-the-art facilities like indoor and outdoor sports activities, secure and comfortable hostels, and a large library.
RIMS placement department offers various types of training to bridge the gap between students and potential employers. The training covers soft skills, technical skills, and general skills required for professional success. The recent placement statistics reveal that 73 companies participated in the 2023 placement drive, with 16 new recruiters joining the process. The highest package offered was INR 10.08 LPA, while the average package stood at INR 6.48 LPA.
Candidates who have obtained at least 50% marks in their undergraduate degree (under the 10+2+3 system) are qualified for admission to the RIMS, Bangalore MBA Programme. Candidates in their final year of study can also apply for admission to the RIMS, Bangalore. They also should have valid scores in any one of the management entrance tests CAT, CMAT, ATMA, XAT, MAT, KMAT or entrance exams specific to the state.
