The hostel has a canteen near it where you can have your daily meals.

About St. Francis Institute of Management and Research and Research

St. Francis Institute of Management & Research (SFIMAR) was established in 2002 by “The Society of the Congregation of Franciscan Brothers” to impart quality education in the field of Business Management. It is recognized by AICTE, New Delhi and has been granted permanent affiliation by the University of Mumbai. SFIMAR is Grade ‘A’ accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and is recognized under Section 2 (f) & 12 (B) of UGC Act 1956. It is also ISO 9001:2015 Certified by by DNV (Det Norske Veritas). The courses conducted at SFIMAR campus are in a state-of-the-art infrastructure environment with Air Conditioned Classrooms, Computer Labs, Conference Halls, Library and Other Amenities. A core team of experienced and qualified faculty member deliver various courses to the students. Additionally, experienced professionals from various industries are invited as Eminent Speakers/Guest Faculty to provide practical orientation to the application of management principles in various fields. SFIMAR believes in the overall development of students and runs a number of Personality Development Programmes. SFIMAR also provides its students additional certification Programmes such as, Alternative Investment Industry, Project Management, National Institute for Securities Markets (NISM) Mandatory Programmes, CIMA, Digital Marketing, etc. which improves their knowledge and employment prospects. SFIMAR has a very active Placement Department which assist students in achieving appropriate placements and has a track record of almost 100% placement for the past several years.

Admissions & Cut-Offs

  • The candidate should possess min. 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in any Bachelor's degree awarded by a recognized University.
  • Candidate should have appeared for MAH- MBA/MMS-CET GMAT/CAT/MAT Feb /ATMA/ XAT/CMAT

PGDM = Passed Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.

  •  Candidate must have appeared for any of the below mentioned MBA Entrance Test.
  • . MH-CET, II. CAT ,III. MAT, IV. XAT, V. ATMA, VI. GMAT,VII. CMAT

VIII. Common entrance examinations (if any) conducted by the respective State Governments for all Institutions other than Minority Institutions.

A candidate must have passed a Three Year Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) from a recognized University with 2 years of work experience after graduation in the executive or supervisory cadre. The experience being counted from the day subsequent to the last day of qualifying examination passed by the candidate.

  •  asking any student to do any act which such student will not in the ordinary course do and which has the effect of causing or generating a sense of shame, or torment or embarrassment so as to adversely affect the physique or psyche of such fresher or any other student.
  •  any act or abuse by spoken words, emails, post, public insults which would also include deriving perverted pleasure, vicarious or sadistic thrill from actively or passively participating in the discomfiture to fresher or any other student .
  • exploiting the services of a fresher or any other student for completing the academic tasks assigned to an individual or a group of students.
