Dr. Rajesh Panda Present role: Professor and Director, Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Bengaluru. Rajesh has also served as Deputy Director in SIBM Pune and as Product Manager in CFL Secunderabad in the past. Besides being a Professor and Director at SIBM B, Rajesh is also an adjunct Faculty with School of International Business and Entrepreneurship, Steinbeis University, Berlin and a visiting faculty at IIM Ranchi. He is also a member of the ‘Planning and Monitoring Board’ and ‘Academic Council’ of Symbiosis International Deemed University. Rajesh is a graduate of IIM, Ahmedabad and he holds Master’s degree in Economics and PhD degree in Retailing. Rajesh has also audited the Harvard Business School GLOCOL Programme in 2015 on invitation from Harvard University, Boston, USA. Rajesh has been awarded the Best professor in Marketing by National Educational Leadership Awards in 2014. Rajesh has more than 25 peer reviewed publications in various national and international journals and four case studies with Ivey Publishing, Canada and Harvard Business School Publishing, USA to his credit. He has also presented research papers in various prestigious international conferences including NACRA Conference in Orlando USA, ICSD Conference in Oxford University, UK and various other academic conferences in IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, IIM Lucknow and IIT, Delhi to name a few. Rajesh has been invited as a speaker in various industry and academic conferences like FICCI Higher Education Conference(New Delhi, 2018), ASMA Conference(Bengaluru, 2018), Adobe Education Leaders Seminar (Thailand, 2017), MBA Universe Convention (Bengaluru, 2017), Higher Education Technology Conference (New Delhi, 2015), SME Marketing Conclave (Bangalore, 2014), TATA GeMS Programme (Titan Industries, 2014) etc. Rajesh has vast experience in corporate training, research and consulting with companies like Godrej, L & T, HUL, Infosys, ITC, IBM, Amdocs, Zensar, BMC Software, Mphasis, Wipro, CapGemini, WNS, BACS, John Deere, Avaya, McDonalds, Praj Industries, Taco,Tyco, M&M, Allscripts, Eclerx etc. He is a reviewer of marketing books with Pearson Education and Tata McGraw-Hill education private limited. The teaching and research area of Rajesh include Customer Relationship Management, Business Analytics, Leadership, Team Building etc.

Prof. A. Vidyasagar has done his B. Tech (E & C) from NITK, Surathkal, and PGDM from IIM, Calcutta. He is NET (UGC) qualified. He has over 30 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Strategy, Corporate Planning, and Brand Consulting. He was part of the top management team in several companies across the Telecom, IT, and Durable sectors. He was associated with various companies like T.I. Cycles, Usha Martin Telekom, JT Mobiles, Logix Microsystems, Vertebrand, and others. His teaching and research interests are in the fields of Digital Marketing, Sales and Distribution Management, Branding, and Marketing strategies. A case study co-authored by Prof.Vidyasagar has won the Marketing category of ISB-Ivey Global Case Competition 2017.

Ms. Saina Baby is a Postgraduate and M. Phil in Economics from Stella Maris College, Chennai. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Economics. She has been trying to instill a passionate and pragmatic approach among the students towards learning the concepts, theories, and applications related to the diverse and dynamic domains of Economics. During her 12 years of a teaching career, she has presented several papers at national and international conferences. She is very keen on exploring the learning and research possibilities in the fields of International Economics, changing macroeconomic scenarios, and Gender Studies. A case study co-authored by Prof.Saina has received honorable mention in ISB-Ivey global case competition 2018. Prof.Saina also has corporate training experience with Wipro and Infosys.

Prof. Atish Dasgupta has done his B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, Kharagpur and a PGDM from IIM, Calcutta. He has over 35 years of industry experience and 6 years of academic experience. He has worked in several organizations such as ACC, Cell next, Pertech Computers Ltd., IDM, Sonata Software, and HCL in diverse fields like Engineering, Software Delivery, Software Services Marketing and Recruitment, and HR. He last held the position of HR Director at HCL Technologies. Post his industry stint, he moved into academics and for the last three years, he has been teaching Organization Behaviour and HR subjects. His areas of interest are Recruitment & Selection and Competency-based HRM among others. Prof. Atish R Dasgupta has been awarded 1st prize in EdgeFarm – the HR Case Study Competition 2017 conducted by CII. Prof. Atish also has corporate training experience with Wipro.

Dr. D.Subramaniam has done his MBA from (PSG Tech, Coimbatore) of Madras University, M.Phil from Bharathiar University. He is UGC NET qualified and has been awarded his Ph.D. in the international marketing area. He has about 30 years of industry experience and 11 years in Academics. He has worked in several organizations such as LMW, Ashok Leyland, EID Parry & Coramandel Fertilizers all in the supply chain area. Post his industry stint he moved in academics and has been teaching Strategy Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, ERP, etc. Prior to joining SIBM, he was with XIME, Bangalore. He has many publications to his credit in journals and also presented papers in various National and International Conferences.

Dr. Semila Fernandes holds a Ph.D. in Marketing from Symbiosis International (Deemed University) and an MBA in from Pune University, an M. Phil in Management from Periyar University, and a B.Sc. from Goa University. She has also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights from NLSIU, Bangalore. She has 14 years of teaching experience in the area of Marketing. Ms. Semila has corporate exposure from her stint at Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company as an Executive – Direct Marketing and at ICFAI as a Regional Summer Internship Co-ordinator. Her research expertise has been in the area of consumer behavior. A case study co-authored by Prof. Semila Fernandes has been selected as the best case in the Marketing category at ISB-Ivey Global Case Competition 2017. Another case study co-authored by Dr.Semila has been selected as the best case in the Family Business category at EFMD Case Competition 2018 and won an Award of €2,000

Ms. Pooja Gupta is a BA (Hons) Economics graduate from Sri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi. She has completed her MBA (Finance) from the International Management Institute, New Delhi. Having completed her NET (UGC), she is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the area of Behavioural Finance. She has 15 years of teaching experience and teaches Corporate Finance, Security Analysis, Valuation, and International Business. Her research interest is in the area of Contrarian Investing and Behavioural Finance. She has presented papers in various International and National Conferences. A Case study co-authored by Prof.Pooja has been selected as one of the top 10 cases in ISB-Ivey Global Case Competition 2016. She has several peer-reviewed publications in various National and International Journals and two Case Studies with Ivey Publishing and Harvard Business School Publishing to her credit. Prof. Pooja Gupta has been awarded 1st prize in EdgeFarm – the HR Case Study Competition 2017 conducted by CII. A case study co-authored by Prof. Pooja Gupta has been selected as the best case in the Marketing category at ISB-Ivey Global Case Competition 2017. Another case study co-authored by Prof.Pooja has been selected as the best case in the Family Business category at EFMD Case Competition 2018 and won an Award of €2,000.

Dr. Madhvi Sethi completed her post-doctoral fellowship from Indian School of Business(ISB), Hyderabad after doing her Doctorate in the area of financial markets. Her research interests lie in the area of financial markets, financial economics, mergers and acquisitions, and capital structure decisions. She has presented papers in several international and national conferences. Her research papers have been published in various peer-reviewed journals in India and abroad. She has co-authored a book titled “Indian Business Groups: Strategy and Performance” which has been published by Cambridge University Press, India. Her co-authored cases are available on Harvard Business Publishing and Ivey Publishing. Dr. Sethi has been appointed as the Research Mentor for SIBM-Bengaluru by Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune. She has been involved in corporate programs conducted at Wipro and Infosys where she has been teaching executives at different management levels. Dr. Madhvi Sethi has been invited to deliver guest sessions at Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University (UK), and Gabelli School of Business, Fordham University (NY). She is also an adjunct faculty with the School of International Business and Entrepreneurship, Steinbeis University, Germany.

Dr. Aarti has completed her Ph.D., MSc (Hons), and M. Phil in Statistics. She has 6 years of experience in the Market Research industry in reputed organizations like MODE and FORE along with 13 years of teaching experience. Prof. Aarti also has corporate training experience with Wipro. Her areas of interest are the applications of decision sciences using SPSS, R, and Tableau. She has publications in various journals and has presented research papers at several national and international conferences. Her current research interest is in the area of corporate governance and eco-friendly business practices. Dr.Aarti also has corporate training experience with Wipro and Infosys.

Dr. Lavina Sharma holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from The M S University of Baroda. She has also done a Diploma in Training & Development from ISTD, New Delhi, and is UGC (NET) certified. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. from Symbiosis International University. Before joining academics, she has worked with leading corporates like Alembic Ltd., Atul Ltd., and Ma Foi Randstad Management Consultants in various capacities. Her expertise areas are Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Learning & Development, and Employee Relations. She has written various research papers and conducted various Management Development Programs for Corporates in areas of Human Resource Management. Prof. Lavina also has Corporate Training Experience with L & T, HPCL & Wipro.

Mr. V. Ravi Kumar spent nearly 30 years in Corporate Life in the area of Banking with a specialization in the area of Financial Markets. He headed the Treasury for ICICI Bank, IDFC Bank, and the ING Group in India. He began his banking career with the State Bank of India. He progressed in his career as a Senior Dealer with ANZ Grindlays and Chief Dealer with ABN AMRO Bank before assuming the Head of Treasury position. He has also served on the Board of IIM Bangalore, ING Mutual Fund, and FEDAI and FIMMDA (Fixed Income Money Market and Derivatives Association), both of which are self-regulating entities established by the Govt. of India. Mr. Ravi Kumar also has corporate training experience with Wipro.

Professor T. Viswanathan holds a Ph.D. from Bharathiar University Coimbatore, a Master’s Degree in Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Madurai Kamaraj University. He has 17 years of teaching, training, and consultancy experience. He was associated with Alliance University as Faculty in Alliance School of Business. He served as a Member of the Board of Studies. He had spent a decade with the Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies. He has conducted over 150 MDPs for the Kirloskar Group of Companies, in the area of Finance and trained over 500 executives. He served as an Assessor for Ravi Kirloskar Quality Price Award for business excellence and CII EXIM Bank Award. He is a CII certified Assessor for Competency Mapping and Assessment and conducted five assessment centers. He is a program committee member of the Global Science and Technology Forum – Singapore. He has presented several papers at national and international conferences. His areas of interest include Corporate Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, and Financial Derivatives.
