Symbiosis has embarked into a niche area, that of Sports Sciences by establishing the Symbiosis School of Sports Sciences (SSSS). In keeping with the impressive growth of the sports Industry in India and its potential to become a multi-sport Nation; Symbiosis aspires to lead by becoming a knowledge “hub” for sports excellence. The first program that this school has launched is the MBA (Sports Management), The Symbiosis School of Sports Sciences was established in June 2016 under the Faculty of Health and Biomedical Sciences. SSSS currently offers a two years full time MBA programme in Sports Management, the options being specialization in Event Management, Talent Acquisition and Management in sports, Technology in Sports and Sports Marketing. The objective of Symbiosis School of Sports Sciences is to train the future leaders and entrepreneurs for the Sports Industry. It also aims to conduct research on various Branches of Sports Sciences. In future the Institute would be offering many Graduate and Post Graduate programmes under the discipline of sports sciences
The institute offers specialization in Event Management in sports, Talent Acquisition in sports, Sports Marketing, and Sports Technology.

As the sports industry grows increasingly larger and more complex, it requires the skills and acumen of a growing number of experts trained in all aspects of sports management, including human, life and engineering sciences. SSSS is not only a pioneer in imparting quality education but also provides the practical on and off field experience and that is what makes SSSS different.
Students are trained to master the skills required by them for excelling in all verticals of Strategic Sports Event Management, Sports Analytics, Sports Marketing, Sports Governance, Managing Sports Facility, Sports Sciences, Legal Aspects in Sports, Media Management, Project Management, Human Resource Management, Sports Economics and many more.
Especially, students are exposed to wider options in different sectors of this dynamic industry with the help of projects & summer internships. There is no stone left unturned when it comes to equipping our budding managers with the technical skills and knowledge that will enable them to survive in the highly competitive market.
Graduate from any recognized University / Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes).
Programmes which require specific discipline/ subject specialization need to be checked for eligibility as given by the respective Institute.
A candidate who has completed qualifying degree from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
All foreign degrees/ qualifications need to be verified from AIU by the candidate before seeking admission to any programme of SIU.
